Jack Dylan Grazer would love to play his superhero sons and Shazam characters in the same movie

Last month, Jack Dylan Grazer joined the DC animated universe as Jonathan Kent, son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane and heir to Superman’s powers. Long before that, though, Grazer had already joined the DC Universe as Freddy Freeman, best friend and eventual sidekick to Billy Batson, Shazam’s power factor. So, who wants to play John Kent in live-action? Well, he has a couple of ideas, but eventually wonders if there’s a way for him to get away with doing it. In a similar vein, he says he would love to play Freddy in the cartoon, which gives him a chance to bounce back on himself in a conversation between Superboy and Freddy in the animation booth.

Neither is particularly likely to happen, but it could be a lot of fun – especially for Grazer, who loves both characters. However, he doesn’t feel provincial, and would just like to see it materialized on screen.

When asked what character he would like Jonathan Kent to run into in the DC animated universe, Grazer replied, “Captain Marvel Jr. That would be fun. I’d have to do some minor voice tweaks if they were going to do both voices.”

As for who would play John in the live-action, he said, “Maybe I’d cast Jacob Tremblay or something, I don’t know,” then added, “Can I say I? Can I say I want to do that?”

After all, it’s a multiverse. If anyone looks a lot like you, you can just say, “Eh, it’s a lookalike.”
